FAQ

WHAT IS ZVON?
ZVON is an acronym for the transport association ZweckVerband Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien, a joint undertaking of the Bautzen and Görlitz districts and the City of Görlitz. Its aim is to achieve optimal coordination and organisation of local public transport services. www.zvon.de

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO TRAVEL AROUND GÖRLITZ?
The fares of the Upper Lusatia-Lower Silesia Transport Association (Zweckverband Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien, ZVON) and its “ZVON-Tarif” apply to local public transport within the city limits of Görlitz. You can therefore use the ZVON ticket in all Görlitz city trams and buses. You can find a fare overview here and on www.zvon.de.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION?
Riding a bus or tram for a whole year while only paying for 10 months is a real money saver. The subscription fees are simply collected monthly from your bank account by direct debit.

The subscription ticket can be transferred to another person.

Every subscriber receives their monthly ticket in an appropriate and timely manner. Every ticket will have its valid fare zone and month imprinted, making stamping it unnecessary.
